Welcome to the Hitching Post Tavern, originally a turn of the century Post Office.

Inside you will experience a feel of the old wild west from its earlier days as The Stony Creek Dude Ranch circa 1935, where it served as a dance hall for the cowboys and cowgirls.

​

It is located directly across from the main Lodge and is a great asset to the resort, serving as a relaxing retreat after a long day.

 

Enjoy an Adirondack themed cocktail, a glass of wine or cold beer by the wood burning fireplace. 

​

When you step inside, you will find a large space with rustic charm.

 Music will be playing with your song requests.

 It has a large dance floor so there is ample room for your whole group to dance.

Grab the microphone for some karaoke singing!

Up the spiral staircase...you can experience the Loft, a cozy and unique space for lounging.

​

The Tavern is also family friendly!

​

Step outside, and the bonfire is lit and the S'more's are roasting.

 

Reunions can choose 1 night of free hotdogs from our hot dog cart set outside, and guests may help themselves! 

 

The Tavern opens 7:00 PM but may be opened earlier upon special request for parties, events, or reunions.
